OUR LARGEST RESCUE TO DATE
On October 27, 2021, we executed our largest rescue to date. After almost a month of investigation, surveillance, and coordination with police, the YouCanFreeUs staff team rescued 28 minors.
This important rescue took place at a jeans manufacturing company in Mumbai, India. In addition to the strenuous labor and difficult working conditions these children have endured, harmful chemicals are often used in the fabric dyeing process. Some dyes are known to be carcinogenic.

Of the 28 rescued, six of them were girls. There were five children rescued under the age of 14.
