SUPPORT TO WIDOWS AND FATHERLESS

There are 258 million widows globally (UN). This alarming statistic is a stark reality of our world, where a large percentage of the global women population is vulnerable to isolation and gender-based violence. They are often economically disadvantaged, tethering them to poverty.

Our mission is to empower widows who are emotionally healing from their loss so they become financially independent and can live with dignity. Our work among widows started during the Covid epidemic when we financially supported several widows with large grants to provide needed assistance for the dire financial situation they found themselves in and help provide for their future.

During the current Russian invasion of Ukraine, YouCanFreeUs sent humanitarian relief to refugees in Ukraine, Romania, and Moldova. We soon realized the massive crisis of possibly hundreds of thousands of women who have become widowed and children who have lost their fathers. We now have a network of widows and their children whom YouCanFreeUs has provided with mortgage-free homes, cars, and financial grants.
